The original i9100 Galaxy S II began receiving their Android 4.0 update Ice Cream Sandwich in March, but the TI OMAP based I9100G cousin was not so fortunate.
Until recently, that is, as we began receiving reports from users that the update has already I9100G ICS planting in several countries. It seems that the launch is enjoying only limited availability for now, but hopefully it will go global in the coming days or weeks.
Good to know that Samsung has not forgotten the less popular versions of the Galaxy S II and is giving their rations because ICS.
